Junior Debtors Controller - Ballito

SUMMARY:
Our client a very large upmarket residential estate and resort is looking for an junior Debtors Controller to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Focus:

To administer the accounting function and to capture accounts accurately and efficiently. Ensure transparency and clear communication between various role players and staff and provide support to the financial manager for all month end, year-end reporting & annual audits.

The minimum requirements are as follows:

• Matric
• A relevant accounting qualification OR
• Must have a strong accounting background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Must be computer literate with a sound understanding of Excel or other spreadsheet packages.
• Knowledge and experience of the Pastel Evolution accounting system is essential.
• Sound understanding of a Homeowners environment would be a recommendation.

The key outputs for this role include but is not limited to:

• To efficiently manage the control of stock and all related procedures thereof.
• Petty cash administration and facilitation.
• The ongoing and effective management of all bank reconciliations.
• All related fines and road surcharges to be effectively administered.
• Support in terms and of debit orders and interest.
• Invoicing
