SUMMARY:
A leader within the manufacturing industry seeks to employ a Junior Debtors Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric

Requirements

Basic understanding of debtors and accounting
Own Transport
Afrikaans and English Speaking (Preferable)

Duties

Assisting debtors with filing
Phoning for collections
Getting documents together for credit notes
Emailing invoices POD’s to customers

The successful candidate will be taught how to do and assist in the following functions eventually:

Allocation of payments on Syspro
Processing of debit / credit notes
Doing reconciliations on customer accounts
Liaising with sales on credit notes and POD’s
Working on group accounts and allocating discounts and rebates
Be able to work on portals
Credit checks on new accounts
Handing overdue accounts over to legal
