SUMMARY:

Are you a predictive modelling whiz with a passion for solving real problems and working in a fastâpaced, collaborative environment? We’re hiring a Data Scientist to join a highâperformance team in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building endâtoâend models, iterating quickly, and contributing to a strong culture of teamwork and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

Build predictive models from scratch (exploration → feature engineering → development → deployment)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise model performance
Collaborate closely in a supportive, highâenergy team
Adapt quickly and problemâsolve effectively
Document insights, processes, and model behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
2–4 years’ experience in data science / predictive modelling
Strong SQL skills
Strong Python proficiency
Proven endâtoâend model development experience
Critical thinker with strong communication skills

Nice-to-Haves:

Machine learning frameworks
AI experience or exposure to AI-driven solutions
Experience in high-performance, collaborative environments
