POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines.
Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, with a specific emphasis on integrating Power BI for efficient data visualization.
Work closely with senior data engineers to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall success of data projects.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting purposes.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data engineering, particularly in the context of Power BI.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong understanding of data concepts and database systems.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
Experience or eagerness to learn Power BI for data visualization.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Skills and Abilities:

Enthusiasm for data engineering and a willingness to delve into complex data challenges.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies.

Technologies:

SQL
Python
Database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Power BI (mandatory)
