Junior Data Analyst - Field Worker: Data and Knowledge Management Programme

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

To support the project team with all municipal wastewater treatment plant data collection requirements on the Energy Efficiency Demand Side Management (EEDSM) project
To train and coordinate new field personnel on data collection within a municipal wastewater treatment plants
To perform daily data collection and basic analysis activities as required
To conduct energy assessments or surveys of the targeted municipal facilities
To keep record of all collected data and ensure data is secure and retrievable
To liaise with relevant officials in sourcing information that relates to the operation of the facilities (e.g. electricity bills, drawings, plans and reports)
To carry out safe practices when working on the facilities
To store and maintain data using a laptop and remote data repositories
To provide adequate reporting to stakeholders as and when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

National Diploma certificate (NQF 6) in any of engineering, environment fields or similar.

Experience:

Have at least 1 year experience in process control, infrastructure operations, monitoring, and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.
Be computer literate, and proficient communication skills.
Proficient skills in operating a computer, ability to use MS excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint and basic Apps, without prior training.
