SUMMARY:
.A Software Development house based in Mount Edgecombe is seeking a Junior Data Business Analyst with at least 2 years MSSQL/SQL Developer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases, as well as translating business requirements into technical solutions.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize SQL databases and queries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
- Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
- Participate in the full SDLC process, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide support to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DBA
- Minimum 2 years proven experience with MSSQL and SQL development.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
