POSITION INFO:

Our well-established client in Durban is looking for a well-presented candidate with strong analytical and statistical ability to join their team. Are you a “critical thinker” who is able to work with vast sets of data?  Are you able to work well in a team or on your own?  Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and pay high attention to detail with 100% accuracy?

Ideal candidates will be required to create promotional statistics for Brand and Retail clients as well as reports to measure against the clients Market Share/Sales and the changes thereof.

Duties and responsibilities:

Using Category and Branding logic to create insightful reports and presentations

Taking instruction for Ad-hoc reports and creating analytics as per request.

Presenting reports and insights to FMCG and Retail clients

Client relationship management and general admin

Keeping up to date time-schedules of what reports go where and when for management purposes

100% accuracy will be acceptable.

Up to date back-ups of all reports maintained

Up to date schedule of all reports maintained

Make sure any errors that are found are communicated to the Capturer Supervisor

Any problem areas reported to management timeously

Any database or network issues reported immediately

Any capture software problems reported to the software development team immediately

General requirements:

Matric certificate

Copy of ID

Strong Microsoft Sills required (1+ year) (Certificate required)

• Excel will be required for formatting and data visualisations
• Pivot Tables
• SQL to pull required data
• PowerPoint for presentations

Comprehension of Retail promotions and FMCG.

Understanding of Manufacturer and Retail relationships and environment

Knowledge of Data Structure and Databasing.

Comprehension of Branding and Categories within a Manufacturer environment
