POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Junior Construction Manager for a high-end residential and mixed-use development in Stellenbosch. This role focuses on managing snagging and de-snagging processes, ensuring homes meet exceptional quality standards before handover. You will coordinate construction activities, liaise with contractors, and uphold compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections, create snag lists, and ensure timely rectification of issues using Onsite eSnagging software.
Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and safety standards.
Oversee contractors, resolving issues and ensuring work meets high standards.
Collaborate with the project team to prepare homes for client handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Construction Management or related field.
3-5 years of residential construction experience, focusing on snagging and quality control.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in construction project management tools.

Attributes:

Detail-oriented, methodical, and solution-driven.
Confident under pressure with excellent leadership skills.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, site-based role in Stellenbosch.
Occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
