JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experienced Compliance Assistant required to provide assistance to the compliance team.

Qualifications:

a Degree in law or any other qualification that is deemed equivalent and has at least two to three years of working experience in compliance department of a management company or any other entities that are licensees of the Financial Services Commission under the FSC code

What the job entails:

Provide assistance on onboarding of new clients and risk profiling of clients
Perform KYC checks and screening of new and existing clients
Conduct both simplified and enhanced due diligence on new and existing clients.
Conduct review of cllients KYC and risk assessment.
Liasing between clients and intermediaries and BVI compliance and operation team for onboarding of clients.
Report and escalate non compliance matters and client hits to head of compliance.
Assisting the Compliance teams within the Osiris group on any compliance tasks.
Assist the Compliance team to prepare and conduct AML/CFT in house trainings.
Coordinate with other departments involved with external liaison functions, to ensure an understanding by outside audiences of the company’s commitment to compliance and integrity.
Assist the compliance officer in ensuring that appropriate standards, practices, and internal controls, including a code of conduct, are adopted, published and explained to those affected

.

Assist the compliance officer in ensuring that each compliance risk area is identified and assessed periodically and appropriately
Assist the compliance officer in ensuring that there is a system in place for appropriate monitoring, auditing, as well as the corporation’s compliance with law and ethical standards.
Keep current with compliance best practices and, along with the compliance officer, represent the company in external compliance and ethics forums.
Any other duties with the compliance functions.
