Junior Business Analyst / BDO, Germiston

SUMMARY:
Our national client within the manufacturing sector is looking to appoint a Junior Business Analyst /  Business Development Officer within their finance unit.  This is for their branch in Germiston.

POSITION INFO:

• B.Com Degree with Accounting
• Min 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in a bank will be advantageous
• Assisting Business Development
• Officers (BDO/E) in compiling prospect plans
• Qualifying prospects and determining business potential
• Cold calling new prospects
• Monthly reporting 
• Concluding credit transactions and making recommendations to all major banks (ABSA, Wesbank, Standard Bank, Merchant West, Sasfin and Investec Bank)
• Meeting all FAIS & FICA Regulations regarding all transactions (including Know Your Client requirements & adherence)
• Detailed analysis of Financial Statements with regards to ratios, current state of Financials, Cash Flows (Management & Audited) using point in time analysis, ROE's, report writing on current sate  of financials (DCC)
• Implementing and analyzing risk procurements  for granting of credit
• Signing of Contracts and Sureties and making sure all is adhered to regarding company documents, legal requirements
• Assisting BDO/E in obtaining targeted sales volume, fee income, yield by providing an effective sales support service 
• Taking care of revolving credit line clients - reviewing facilities
• Assisting BDO/E in submission of quality case presentations
• Actioning of internal audit queries as required
