SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented Junior Branch Manager, who has experience within the building industry, to join a new retail store opening up in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the branch and supervise all areas of operation. A hands-on approach will be needed to add to the success of the branch as well as implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric

A minimum of 3 years' sales and retail store management experience

Sales experience must be in the building industry

Valid driver’s licence

Live within the Boland region

Be naturally technically minded and sales driven

DUTIES

Responsible for the entire retail store

Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately

Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation

New business development

Take over and grow the customer base

Lead a sales team of 2 staff members

Run weekly sales meetings

Daily, weekly and monthly reporting

Key Holder: the safe opening and closing of the store on a daily basis

Be a point of contact in the store to attend to services and administration from 3rd party companies or individuals

Be the contact person for the landlord and attend to manage maintenance and repairs to the premises

Ensure the store is kept clean and tidy at all times

Ensure displays are always current and up to date with trends within the local market

Responsible for the company car

Salary: R dependent on experience
