SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join a successful growing business in Verulam KZN, for a Junior Bookkeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure movement of stock is executed and documented.
Monitor and ensure that all stock control systems are adhered to.
Data capturing of stock information and daily reporting.
Handle stock take, stock checks, stock count and inspections.
Ensure stocklists are correctly updated and documented.
Reconcile stock and manage variances.
Reconciliation of accounts.
Monitor inventory and fixed asset records.
Check and verify source documents such as invoices and receipts.
Process accounts receivable and prepare payments.
Payroll Administration

Minimum Requirements:

Experience with Pastel or Sage Evolution.
3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Own vehicle or transportation

Required Competencies:

Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Effective planning and management skills.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday – 7:30 – 4:30
Saturday – 7:30 – 12:30
