POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting an organisation in the FMCG DISTRIBUTION industry to recruit a JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER to be based at their offices in BALLITO, R9 000 to R12 000.

OUR CLIENT IS AN ESTABLISHED FMCG DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SUPPLYING LOCAL AND IMPORTED FROZEN, REFRIGERATED, DRY AND SMALL GOODS TO RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, COFFEE SHOPS, CATERERS, SCHOOLS, NATIONAL CHAINS, CORPORATES, GUEST HOUSES AND HOUSEHOLDS.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE/HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper.

A relevant qualification.

A thorough working knowledge of Pastel, essential.

Customer centred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent reconciliation skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Prepared to work Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 and

08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays during peak seasons, i.e. Christmas and Easter.

Work public holidays (paid overtime) except Christmas Day, Boxing and New Year’s Day.

Experience in a FMCG environment, an advantage.

Well organised.

Initiative.

Live within 20km of Ballito.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Sending out weekly customer statements.

Following up on outstanding customer accounts.

Credit notes, supplier invoices, returns and debits.

Balancing of cash book every day.

Payroll.

Bank statements.

Stock correction.

REMUNERATION:

R9 000 to R12 000
