A well-established retail giant seeks a Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Pretoria North.

POSITION INFO:

A well-established retail giant seeks a Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Pretoria North.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function up to trail balance.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Journal entries for receipts, payments, and other financial transactions

Filing source documents

Posting journal entries to ledger accounts

Preparing trial balances

Performing bank reconciliations

Invoicing and payments

Payroll administration

Filing tax returns

Education:

Certificate or Diploma in Finance / Accounting

Skills & Experience:

2 to 3 years'' experience in a bookkeeping role

SAP working knowledge is non-negotiable

High values and low volumes experience is essential

Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
