Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Administrator with experience in Debtors and Creditors to support the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of a well-established towing and recovery business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing customer and supplier accounts, and ensuring smooth office operations in a high-paced, service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administration

• General office support including filing, data entry, and process information on the various insurance portals
• Handling incoming calls and directing queries to relevant departments.
• Capturing job cards, vehicle details, and service documentation.
• Updating and maintaining internal systems and client databases.
• Preparing reports and maintaining vehicle and equipment records (licensing, insurance, etc.).

• Generate and issue customer invoices based on completed towing jobs.
• Follow up on outstanding payments via phone, email, and statements.
• Allocate receipts to customer accounts accurately.
• Resolve billing disputes in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare monthly debtor age analysis and assist with collections planning.

• Capture and process supplier invoices and reconcile against purchase orders or job sheets.
• Prepare payment schedules and manage creditor accounts.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and resolve queries.
• Ensure timely processing to take advantage of payment terms and avoid late fees.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12).
• Relevant certificate or diploma in, junior Bookkeeping, or Office Administration is advantageous.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative, debtors, or creditor’s role (towing/logistics/transport industry experience highly advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAGE
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
