POSITION INFO:
Our client, a leading fruit exporter is seeking to employ a Junior Blue Berry Specialist.  Reporting into a Director.

• Must have formal tertiary qualification with a min of  2 - 5 years relevant work exp within the fruit or agricultural industry with an accomplished Berry production / technical / sales  track record. 
• Seeking a young, energetic candidate to be trained up.
• These topics are essential to focus on:
• Technical knowledge of Berry production, packing and quality.
• Procurement and grower services.
• Product management.
• Your duties will include but not limited to: - 

• Breeding programs
• Grower & marketing & Quality Assistance 
• Post harvest technology and treatments
• Preseason planning
• Packing Program Management
• Grower payments
• Communication
• Stay up to date on technical information
• Ideal candidate will have great attention to detail when reporting
• Excellent computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Ability to work remotely but still be part of a larger team
• Undertake travel locally
