Junior BI Developer

Our client, a leading direct selling company, is seeking a Junior BI Developer to join their development team and help design, deliver, and maintain BI solutions that power smarter decision-making across the organisation.
This is the perfect role for someone with foundational Microsoft data skills who is ready to sharpen their expertise in T-SQL and MS SQL Server, while learning directly from the Head of Development. Exposure to the Google Data Platform will give you an extra edge.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do

• Assist in developing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards.
• Write and optimise T-SQL queries, building complexity as you grow.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with senior guidance.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Document workflows, queries, and specifications for knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in sales, operations, and finance to deliver meaningful insights.

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or recent graduate).
• 1–2 years’ experience in BI, data analysis, or similar role.
• Comfortable writing intermediate T-SQL queries (joins, aggregates, stored procedures).
• Basic MS SQL Server experience.
• Exposure to Google Data Platform (advantageous).
• Bonus: Power BI, SSRS, or data warehousing concepts.
