SUMMARY:
Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Required Qualifications                              
Matric Degree/diploma in Informatics or Statistics or Computer Science or Engineering or related fields

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong relationships both internally and with vendors

Good business acumen and a willingness to keep learning and growing in developing skill sets

POSITION INFO:

Beneficial Experience (Not Required)     1 - 3 years experience in SQL and report writing
Experience developing SSRS reports
Experience in Qlik Sense and/or PowerBI would be advantageous
Understanding and mapping business processes
Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Teams, Word, etc)
Exposure to working on cloud based and/or on prem environments
Familiarity of programming languages
Predictive analytics experience (e.g. Regression Analysis)

• Querying and report writing (SQL, Excel, SSRS)
• Provide ongoing support and assist colleagues with day-to-day system and data driven requests
• Daily data monitoring and management i.e. cleansing, sanitization, massaging, etc
• Monitoring and identifying opportunities to optimize business processes

• Assist with analytics dashboards and BI tools across business functions in order to facilitate decision making
• Participate in design and scoping workshops to help define solution requirements
• Assist with requirements gathering of development projects
• Assist with user training and documentation for supported applications
