SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Junior Attorney with at least one year of post-admission experience specializing in Road Accident Fund (RAF), third-party claims, and personal injury law. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of litigation procedures and be able to manage cases from inception to finalization.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Handle RAF and third-party claims, including personal injury matters.
Draft and review pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents.
Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
Represent clients in settlement negotiations, pre-trial conferences, and court proceedings.
Engage with medical experts, advocates, and other stakeholders.
Maintain case files, deadlines, and compliance with court rules.
Provide legal advice and support to clients.

Requirements:

LLB degree and admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
Minimum 1 year of post-admission experience in RAF / third-party claims / personal injury law.
Strong litigation, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Case Lines & Court Online experience is essential.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Knowledge of RAF Act and relevant case law is essential
