Junior Artwork Graphic Designer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ a Junior Artwork Graphic Designer at their organization

POSITION INFO:

Location: Boksburg, Gauteng

Requirements:

• Matric
• Graphic design qualification
• Minimum of two years’ Adobe Illustrator experience and knowledge.
• Experience in Flexographic printing, Adobe Photoshop, and AutoCAD will be advantageous.
• Must be willing and flexible to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities:

• To develop and create artwork and layout of flexographic printing instructions for corrugated boxes and cartons according to specifications.
• Liaise with sales representatives to update changes on the artwork until it’s confirmed by the customer.
• After printing instruction is confirmed, create artwork for negative and prepare the mounting board layout.
• Cut stereo according to requirements for exposing, washing, and drying of plates.
• Cut the mounting board required, using the sample cutting machine, then mount the stereo according to the printing instruction.
• Adhoc duties and projects that may be required from time to time.
