JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
The company presenting this position is a giant in the South African insurance market. They provide original and innovative products and have a shared perspective of excellence. In this role your will be managing a team of Actuarial Analysts responsible for modelling and monitoring actuarial solutions. Other responsibilities include data collection and analysis, insights and reporting and model deployment and testing. Furthermore, you will be a leader and support the team with your knowledge and innovative approaches. You will be reporting to the Senior Actuarial Manager and engage with other stakeholders.
 
Education:
  • Bachelors or Honours in Actuarial Sciences
  • Minimum of 8 actuarial exams required
 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 4 years’ minimum experience in non-life / short-term insurance
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in planning and managing resources to deliver on a set objective
  • Pricing and product development experience is beneficial
