SUMMARY:
This opportunity calls to Junior Accountants based in Johannesburg looking to also pursue their CIMA articles at a well established Accounting firm.

POSITION INFO:
Your duties include but are not limited too:

Collections from client’s customers
Capturing creditors invoices
Performing creditors reconciliations
Processing and reconciling cash book on a daily basis
Prepare monthly vat returns
Capture information from source documents in the relevant accounting system.
Compile Annual Financial Statements.
Prepare and submit income tax returns.
Prepare and submit vat returns.
Prepare and submit monthly PAYE and UIF returns

Education:

Completed BCom in Accounting
BCom Honours advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 in Bookkeeping/ Accounting role
Experience with Pastel/Xero/ Caseware essential
Advanced Excel ideally
Financial acumen
Hands on personality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with clientele
Team player
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Deadline driven
