Overview:Â

An established Accounting Firm seeks to employ a Junior Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper, to be based within their Accounting / Audit Departments. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, as well as the relevant Partner.Â

Â

Minimum requirements:Â

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification (highly advantageous)
• 3+ years in a similar role
• 2+ years in an accounting firm environment (highly advantageous)

Â

Responsibilities:Â

To include but not limited to the following:Â

• Capturing of cash books and processing up to Trial Balance
• Drafting Financial Statements
• VAT processing and return submissions
• PAYE returns
• EMP501 returns
• Completion of income tax returns
• Other bookkeeping related duties
