JOB DESCRIPTION:

A giant in the Mining sector is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their diverse team. This conglomerate has been around for almost a century and is currently expanding their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with various African countries and performing the full finance functions for the business.

Duties:

Implementation of improvements to processes
Bank reconciliations
Inter-company reporting
General ledger recons
Month end reporting

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the Mining, Construction or Engineering sectors are essential
Experience liaising with African countries is essential
