JOB DESCRIPTION:

A giant in the Mining sector is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their diverse team. This conglomerate has been around for almost a century and is currently expanding their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with various African countries and performing the full finance functions for the business.
 
Duties:
  • Implementation of improvements to processes
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Inter-company reporting
  • General ledger recons
  • Month end reporting
 
Education and Experience:
  • BCom Accounting
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the Mining, Construction or Engineering sectors are essential
  • Experience liaising with African countries is essential
