An opportunity exists for a junior accountant to undertake a role in financial statement preparation and iXBRL conversions. The position requires the successful candidate to form an important part of the diversely talented, highly experience team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions, delivering high quality advice to our clients. We are interested in confident, well rounded individuals with a passion for team work and excellence.

As Junior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
  • Compilation of financial statements
  • Converting of annual financial statements from MS Word, MS Excel or PDF
  • Submission of the financial statements on CIPC
  • Client engagement
  • Billings
 
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • B.Com degree / CTA / PDGA
  • Completed SAICA articles
  • Excellent knowledge of the International Standards on Auditing
  • Knowledge of the JSE listing requirements would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office and Caseware
  • Set high standards in regard to quality of work
  • Strong sense of integrity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Structured and systematic
