SUMMARY:
My client is one of the leading importer and branding company within South Africa and they are currently growing their finance team and is now looking for a Junior Accountant to join their Woodmead office in Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client will offer you the opportunity to get involved on a group level concerning various reporting systems within the concern, which will enhance your reporting and consistency skills.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible to gather information, consolidate the information to aid with the deliverables of the department.  
 
Duties will include:
  • Year and half year reporting
  • Quarterly reporting
  • Analysis of group balance sheet and reporting variances
  • Ensuring content meets reporting standards
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Review of balance sheet recons

Qualifications:
  • BCom Accounting
Requirements:
  • Caseware
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles
