Are you a finance professional with a completed BCom in Finance/Accounting and looking to expand your career within a large entity steel manufacturing client in the Eastern suburbs of Johannesburg?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client focusses on the manufacturing and distribution of varied steel products and have been in operation for nearly 3 decades. They have successfully formed formidable partnerships with business across the mining, construction and engineering sectors and continue to dominate market value in their sphere
of operation.

They are looking for someone who will be responsible for the full Bookkeeping (up to trial balance) function.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience on SAP – Preferred (Or similar ERP system)
Must have BCom
Articles – Highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

Posting journal entries to ledger accounts
Preparing trial balances
Bank reconciliations
Preparing cash flow statements and financial reports
Processing invoices
Processing payments
Vat returns and Tax submissions
