Perfect opportunity for a BCom Graduate with 2 – 3 years completed articles to join a fun and dynamic team and organization.

A Junior Accountant vacancy exists where you will get to learn about the agriculture and export industry, within a financial framework.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12
BComm degree in Financial Accounting or similar
2 - 3 years’ experience, post Articles
SAIPA / SICA Articles or equivalent
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent diligence and accuracy
Effective communication skills
Afrikaans and English language essential
Own transport

DUTIES:

Managing the financial processes within the Company
Production of monthly income statements and supporting schedules
Processing of General Ledger
Reconciliations of control account and balance sheets
Investigate variances on income statements
Submitting VAT on e-filing and VAT reconciliations
Monthly creditors’ reconciliation statements and release account payments
Check all EFT payments for validity, allocation and accuracy
Assisting the financial team in any ad-hoc requirements that they might have

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
