JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading supplier company is currently on the lookout for a Financial Accountant.  My client is looking for a strong Financial Accountant that take initiative to deliver results.

 

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Updating and maintaining balance sheet recons
  • Monthly journal entries
  • Supervision of the accounts payable department
  • Assist with Tax, Vat compliance and queries
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Assisting with the budget process
  • Revaluations of all foreign currency transaction accounts
  • Intercompany recons
  • Audit assistance
  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements
  • Assist in any general ad hoc tasks

 

Qualifications:

Completed Diploma or Bcom

3 – 5 Years’ experience in the same role

Pastel Evolution would be beneficial
