SUMMARY:
Company based on Longmeadow seeks a Fixed Assets Junior Accountant. Continuous travel to all branches is required hence applicants must have a car and must be willing to travel to 20 branches (fuel will be reimbursed)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting
Completed BCom and Articles will suffice
4+ years of experience in accounting and fixed assets
Apply the Capex process to the entire group
Travel to all branches and physically verify assets to update on Sharepoint
Annual asset verification
Annual extension of Useful Life exercise
Submit disposal forms
Petty cash validation (for 20 branches)
Prepare journals across all branches
GL, Cashbook, Creditors & Debtors rolls (month end)
Manage cell phone contracts
Foreign travel involved
