A well-established and growing distributor of petroleum products seeks a young and driven Junior Accountant to join their fast-paced finance team in Pretoria East. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain vast finance experience on a national level.

A well-established and growing distributor of petroleum products seeks a young and driven Junior Accountant to join their fast-paced finance team in Pretoria East.

In this role you will have the opportunity to gain vast finance experience on a national level.

In this role your duties will include, but not be limited to:

Reconciliations in high volumes (it is imperative that the successful incumbent has strong reconciliation skills)

Processing of bank accounts

Responsible for online banking platforms

Loading payments and chasing approval

Ensuring accurate and timeous invoicing

Export & import files

Review debtors and creditors

This position requires an incumbent who will be willing to work long hours and weekends, when need be.

Education:

BCom in finance or accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles is essential

Strong Pastel Evolution skills

Strong computer literacy and MS Excel skills

Conscious in follow ups and requesting information

Attention to detail

Ability to successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Own transport is essential
