SUMMARY:
Our client, whom offers a full accounting and taxation service, currently seeks a Junior Accountant, to assist in their Ballito office.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

B.Com Degree.
Completed Articles essential.
Knowledge of management accounts and annual financial statements.

Some specific activities include:

Uploading accounting and payroll data files into Pastel and/or Sage One for selected clients.
Analysing and reviewing the extracts and reports to ensure they are complete and accurate.
Preparing monthly working paper files and payroll files for review prior to submitting to clients.
Preparing tax and VAT computations and uploading same on SARS e-Filing.
Preparing management accounts on a monthly basis and annual financial statements on an annual basis.
Uploading other submissions on SARS e-Filing including Trust and individual tax filings.
Engaging with clients and keeping Supervisors updated on progress.
Working in an efficient manner to ensure they meet agreed client timeframes.
Supporting other members of the team and performing other assigned work.
