A large holding company, compromising of different specialized businesses is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team with operations based in Johannesburg North.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full finance function up to balance sheet. Duties include, but not limited to accurate and timeous capturing of financial transactions and reconciliation of the cashbook, income statement and balance sheet, analyzing accounting data, preparing reports and preparing numerous account entries.

The successful incumbent will responsible for providing financial information to management and will be dealing with 25 entities within the business, someone who can handle a large workload and a pressured environment will be preferred.

Education:

NDip / BCom in Accounting / Finance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 5 years’ experience in an accounting / bookkeeping to balance sheet role

Advanced MS Excel skills

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Strong reporting and analysis skills

Strong administrative skills

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail
