Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Durban North is seeking an Innovative and independent Junior Accountant to join their reputable Accounting Firm.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant Accounting degree.
• 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of software: CaseWare and Xero.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly Management account support.
• Manage client correspondence.
• Responsible for VAT and PAYE submissions.
• Responsible for SARS E-filing, submissions, and correspondence.
• Assist with Annual Financials Statement.   
• General file support.
• Assist with reviewing and managing clerical work.
• Support the Manager with complex portfolio of clients.

Additional Information:

• High level of independence required.
• Work from the office and home initiative.
