Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client based in the Eastern Suburbs, is recruiting for an accurate and efficient Junior Accountant. The successful candidate needs to have relevant experience.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• BCom Accounting / Financial Management
• Computer Literate.
• Experience in relevant role.
• Excellent administration skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with cashbooks, journals, intercompany transactions, accruals, trial balances and reconciliations.
• Effective record keeping of transactions, accounts, special journals and payments.
• Expense Analysis – process and analyse Bureau de Change expenses.
• Prepare Bureau de Change for payment, allocate payments and reconcile.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, yearend reporting required by management.
• Allocate, capture, and control sundry expenses.
• Assist Financial Manager with year end and audit requirements and audits of the company.
• Conduct general administration function.
• Filing systems implemented and ensure maintained to ensure documents are easily retrievable.
