We are looking for a Junior Accountant to work closely with the Financial Director in a very dynamic and faced paced environment.

Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Accounting

Job Description

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for all collections and management of customer accounts who have received finance from the client as well as assist in reconciling accounts. The candidate will be expected to, but not be limited to:

Management of Debit Orders
Resolving missed/unpaid Debit Orders
Loading debit orders with service providers
Reconciliations
Allocations
Administer loans
Billing
Sending invoices and statements
Credit Notes
Interest on arrears calculations
Settlement calculations
Preparing ad-hoc statements
Customer queries
Helping customers through Insurance Claims
Preparing Asset Register requests
Preparing Amortisation tables
Reporting
Hand-over to legal team, when required
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Preparing Journals

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role.
Financial understanding & accuracy
