JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper

Budget: R10-15k (Salary dependent on skills and experience)

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience | Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related.

Duties/Skills:

Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
Organizational and attention to detail skills.
Analyze financial information and prepare management packs.
Assist in financial and tax audits.
Prepare income tax returns and reporting.
Complete month-end close procedures.
Resolve accounts receivable and accounts payable queries.
Sage product experience beneficial
