SUMMARY:
Our Transport and Logistics Client is looking for a Junior Account Executive based in Durban

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Secure transport orders from clients
Execute loads from pickup to delivery using Group companies / subcontractors
Provide regular updates to clients of loads in progress
Ensure invoicing of loads in the system on a timely basis
Matric
Tertiary qualification in logistics is advantageous
Own transport is required
Excellent transport knowledge
Knowledge of port systems including booking processes
Must have knowledge or have worked with import and export containers
Fully computer literate (incl. Excel)
Use own initiative
Work with minimum supervision
Team player
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work long hours and weekends when required
