My client is looking a Jnr Sales Manager â€“ Garden Range Business in Sandton

POSITION INFO:

Job purpose

The purpose of this position is to develop and grow the market share and drive sales for the Garden Range Fertilizer. Ensuring sales forecast are met within in the financial year. Delivering exceptional customer service, assist the

Commercial manager in planning, forecasting and reporting on sales.

Key responsibilities

Sale of garden range products
Build and manage sales distribution network
Marketing of the garden range products
Planning, forecasting and reporting sales budgets.
Co-ordinate production with the plant
Identify new opportunities and expand the product range.
Be creative and innovative with packaging and marketing channels.
Generate sales reports and sales related administration
Ensure customers satisfaction.
Build customer relationships
Solve queries on sales related queries.
Understand debtor age analysis.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

Be willing to travel frequently and continuously.
Strong management, and interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen, market and product knowledge
Proficient in marketing online and through social media.
Higher education qualification advantages.
Basic knowledge of plant nutrition / chemistry will be beneficial.
Have a good working knowledge of Excel.
Experience in sales management, forecasting and reporting
Ability to work independently within a diverse but geographically remote team. i.e., Self-starter.
Excellent communicator.
Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Computer literacy in MS Office
