SUMMARY:
Head Office Animal Nutrition concern, based in Jhb North, has a limited duration opportunity for an energetic, hands-on Junior Financial Controller to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Report directly to the Financial Controller. Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) degree, with a minimum of 3-5 years related commercial experience in Accounting within the Manufacturing / Production or FMCG sector. Studying towards a CIMA or ACCA highly advantageous. KPI''s include: participation in the month closing process (analysis, reconciliations, VAT reporting), reporting the company''s financial results (income statement, production costs and balance sheet), supervision over operational payables accounting and intercompany transactions; managing internal control processes; co-ordination, consolidation and standardisation of accounting processes; improvement of reporting tools, modification and implementation of improvements; business partnership for commercial, production and logistics departments and awareness building. Solid MSExcel experience essential. A person who wants to learn and develop their knowledge and skills, can think analytically and is a problem-solver would be ideal in this role.
