POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma / Degree

Min of 2 years previous experience in the fruit industry

Computer literate

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing & sales of products to existing and new clients
• Knowledge of different fruit varieties essential (apples, pears, grapes, citrus, stone fruit)
• Management & maintenance of existing client network
• Liaison with cargo agents, cold rooms to facilitate unloading of containers
• Completion of flimsey documentation to confirm transaction details to logistics and finance department
• Support to colleagues to support product sourcing process in order to achieve budgeted targets

Support to finance department through communication with clients regarding the following divisions:

1. Debtors Collections
2. Management & settlement of claims
3. Shipping & credit limit management with clients
4. Verification of costs and profits where applicable to own sales
