JUNIOR RECON CLERK (CREDITORS)

Purpose and Scope:

Provide professional Full Recon service to The Company’s clients, ensuring efficiency and accuracy are maintained at all times.

Principal accountabilities:

• Full Function Recons (debtors, GRN/GRV, Creditors) for various Optometric Practices
• Checking accuracy of source information
•  Processing/importing creditors invoices where necessary
•  Reconciliation of Creditors statements where necessary
•  Preparation of “cash flows” – summary of creditor’s payments to be made
• Liaising with accountants and bookkeepers internally, and with practice personnel and creditors staff in the timeous resolving of outstanding issues
• Preparation of recons and payments for review by accountants
• Reconciliations of creditors where necessary

REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION: 

• Grade 12
• Related experience as per the above job description           
• 1-3 years Recon and Creditors experience
• Experience using Excel and Pastel is a pre-requisite
