JOB DESCRIPTION:

A manufacturing company in Pietermaritzburg is actively seeking a Junior Quality Technician/ Engineer to monitor quality trends and aid prioritization, follow-up of quality issues and concerns impacting assembly lines.

Skills required:

Read and interpret engineering drawings
Internal/ external auditor
Core tools (PFMEA/ control plan)
Be able to conduct a first article inspection and ISIR
Complete an 8 D problem solving report
Understand quality problem solving methodology and process controls

Minimum requirements:

BTech Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
External auditor training (training to ISO 19011) - Ideal
RSA Driver’s license (code 8)
Minimum 1-3 years experience
