JUNIOR QC FABRICATION INSPECTOR (LEVEL 1) – ROODEPOORT

SUMMARY:
Our client a busy fabrication workshop requires a junior entry level candidate to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

 Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Level 1 QC qualification will be an advantage

 Experience and requirements:

• 2 or more years’ experience in the steel fabrication or related industry is essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of welding specs
• Reside close to Roodepoort
• Have reliable transport
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Be a team player

 Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure QC data books are as per company standards
• Complete pre and post quality checks
• Able to read and interpret a technical drawing
• Assist with various other duties required in the fabrication department
• Follow fabrication work in progress and customers outstanding reports
• Arrange inspections with customers
• Work closely with the Fabrication Manager and provide feedback
