SUMMARY:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Will be responsible for handling several Customer Service projects in South Africa for deliveries to customers across the African continent.

Job Description/Role Summary Purpose:

The Project Lead will be leading efforts to optimize project execution for aftermarket components to customers in Africa. You will have the opportunity to generate ideas for execute projects with our global supply base. You will utilize experience, expertise, and leadership to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and act as a change agent to move cross-functional projects to completion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

The Project Leader role will achieve the following objectives:

Facilitate project pipeline opportunity development across the global commodity team along with direct discussions with suppliers to ensure clarity on project as well as potential benefits.
Develop commodity engagement rhythms to maximize overall program effectiveness and ensure we achieve desired on time deliveries.
Accelerate execution of projects to start realizing savings as quickly as possible.
Develop tools to mine data and build a strong toolkit for both reporting & overall process execution.
Conduct financial reviews with sales director and finance managers as needed to solidify project execution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
Proficient in MS Office

3 -5 Years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Fluent English (both written and spoken) is an essential requirement
Leadership skills, problem solving ability, project management skills
Analytical and communication skills
Autonomous attitude
Capability to work in an international and multicultural context
Ability to manage a complex environment

Ability to work with cross functional teams such as manufacturing, logistics, quality, materials etc. to achieve timely project execution
Logistics or sourcing experience preferred
