JUNIOR LIVESTOCK MANAGER

SUMMARY:
Winterton Area – KZN: Our client requires an energetic youngster with a keen passion for beef farming and cropping to join his team. This is an entry level vacancy

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Min of 2 previous years’ experience on a livestock farming operation
• Agricultural diploma / degree advantageous
• Previous experience in beef farming
• Previous cropping and harvesting experience
• Ability to speak Zulu/Xhosa Essential

 

Experience with:

1. Maintenance
2. Dipping
3. Feed Mixing
4. Fire Break Burning
5. Bailing
6. Tagging, branding, and de horning

• Driver’s license
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Good Communication skills
