Salary on offer is R15K to R17K CTC pm depending on experience and qualifications.


SUMMARY:
A leading insurance broker in Umhlanga, KZN is seeking a Claims Assessor with a minimum of 3 years Life/ Long Term insurance claims experience to join their busy team.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties will include interalia:-

  • Registering claims
  • Submission of claim forms to clients and explaining what is required
  • Collating supporting documents
  • Using checklists to ensure efficient claims flow process is adhered to
  • Liaising with clients, attorneys, medical practitioners, hospitals, companies, etc.
  • Regular updates to clients
  • Handling claims until finalisation
  • Claims administration and reporting
 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a claims consultant handling Life insurance claims (Death, Disability, Bond Protection claims etc)
  • Some short term insurance claims experience will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Relevant qualification
  • Ability to work unsupervised
