POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Agricultural / Mechanical / Mining / Industrial)
Passport, driver’s license and own vehicle is a requirement
Passion for new technology
Experience with managing engineering projects, from conception to implementation
Interest in logistics and operations advantageous
Experience with QGIS and similar smart farming technologies

Duties including but not limited to:

Assist in growing the business by researching and implementing new, innovative solutions
Lead and manage the implementation of new ideas
Support business development team on specifying correct solutions for tenders
Keep track and propose of Continuous Improvement (CI) solutions
Travel to sites to support team when required
Ensure project tasks are delivered within scope, budget and on time
Maintain and monitor project plans and time scales
Ensure project deadlines are met
Providing administrative support as needed
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
Prepare timely and accurate implementation progress reports
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Liaise with service providers on resolution of key issues identified
