JUNIOR DIESEL TECHNICIAN (EARTHMOVING MACHINERY)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a trade tested JUNIOR DIESEL TECHNICIAN (EARTHMOVING MACHINERY) for a well-established national concern. Position based in Pietermaritzburg. KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license.

Trade tested Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanic / Technician / Mechanical Fitter with working experience on earthmoving machinery.

Post trade test working experience is essential.

Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

Responsible for the service and maintenance of all equipment and machinery.

Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements;

correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.

Machine assessments, reports and presentation.

Own tools are essential.

Responsible for other tasks on site as and when required.

Person must currently reside in Pietermaritzburg and preferably be able to start immediately.
