SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a dynamic person to join their accounts department

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12/ equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

3 or more years working experience as a Creditor’s Clerk to perform the full function on Syspro
Must have dealt with a large Creditor’s Book
Good knowledge of clerical accounting practices
Good communication skills
Be efficient and able to maintain confidentiality
Able to work under pressure
Excellent time management and reporting skills
Advanced Computer skills on Excel Spreadsheets and Syspro or an ERP System (this is not negotiable)
Have reliable transport
Reside close to Germiston
A clear ITC and Criminal record
A non- smoker
A stable work record and have contactable references

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct various finance administrative duties
Contact suppliers for outstanding invoices/statements
Assist in processing supplier invoices
Assist in resolving supplier queries/ reconciling items
Assist with customer queries
Distributing Customer statements, invoices & POD’s
Ensure filing is up to date and properly indexed
Reconciling of Creditors
Matching and batching of invoices
Preparing of payments
